UCLA Symposium on Clinical Metagenomic Technology
Due to tremendous advances in genomic sequencing, clinical metagenomics is poised to revolutionize diagnostics for infectious diseases. The purpose of this symposium was to bring together researchers developing and deploying clinical metagenomic NGS technology to share best practices and the latest technological advances. The symposium also discussed key challenges and paths forward for regulatory approval, and commercialization of clinical metagenomic NGS diagnostic technologies.
